The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, has named the governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola, as the Omoluabi of Yorubland.
The monarch presented the award at the Government House of Osun state that is in Oshogbo, saying that the Governor has displayed the ” Omoluabi ethos” several times and he has always been walking in the line if a true ” Omoluabi”.
Yoruba tribe is a tribe that has always been instilling on the children and youth all the traits of a responsible individual that is well brought up.
Alafin said he took time to study the Ogbeni Aregbesola’s leadership style and he realized that he’s the only one that has displayed the “Omoluabi ethos” of the Yoruba.
He then urged the good people of Osun state to cooperate with his administration with the payment of taxes. He added that the present administration has done several things to provide social amenities, such as good roads, provision of affordable health care facilities to assist the aged.
The governor prayed that the monarch’s reign will continue to be prosperous and fruitful.
