Nigerian pay-TV platform CONSAT has included the African Movie Channel (AMC) and African Movie Channel Series (AMC Series) to its content.
The founding partners and co-directors of African Movie Channel, Yinka Mayungbo and Lola Onigbogi said that AMC and AMC Series will provide African drama series and Bollywood content that will satisfy the need of CONSAT for wholesome family viewing what’s in line with African values for its audience
The CEO of CONSAT, Mayo Okunola said the partnership with AMC is in line with CONSAT’s vision to provide impeccable African content that promotes creativity in Nollywood and Africa in general.
The two 24-hour pay-TV channels are already available in Nigeria on the StarTimes and StarSat platforms, as well as the Montage Cable Network. StarTimes also carries AMC in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Mozambique, Burundi and Rwanda; while StarSat also covers Kenya and South Africa. In addition, AMC is available on Zuku in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi and Zambia; Azam TV in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda; and Bamba TV in Kenya.
