The Code of Conduct Tribunal will today, Wednesday, deliver judgment on the no-case submission filed by Bukola Saraki, Senate President, to challenge his trial bordering on false assets declaration and other related offenses.
Saraki had contended that none of the exhibits tendered linked him to the offences he was being tried for. His lead defence counsel, Kanu Agabi, said the charges had nothing to do with his client.
The Federal Government’s counsel, Rotimi Jacobs, had urged the tribunal to examine the various asset declaration forms submitted by the defendant to reveal the falsehood in them.
