Nancy Reagan, a former first lady of the United States of America, wife to the 40th American President, Ronald Reagan, had died at the age of 94.
Nancy died at her Bel Air home in California.
She was an American actress and was the First Lady of the U.S. from 1981 to 1989.
She died of Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) and is due to be buried by her husband at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley.
After Ronald’s political career, Nancy dedicated most of her time to caring for her husband, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 1994, until his death at the age of 93 in 2004.
Her career as an actress started with supporting roles in two films released in 1949, ‘The Doctor and the Girl’ with Glenn Ford and East Side, West Side starring Barbara Stanwyck.
Till she died, she remained active within the Reagan Library and in politics, particularly in support of embryonic stem cell research.
