The communiqué, signed by its chairman and secretary, Oladunni Adetola and Adetonwa Festus, respectively, said that series of letters were written to Governor Ibikunle Amosun on their demands without positive response.

According to the communiqué, the issues of concern raised in the letter included the need to restructure health facilities, shortage of staff and relativity in salary.

“After series of letters to the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, both official and personal, as well as sensitisation of all other stakeholders, the government has not seen any reason to attend to any of the aforementioned issues ravaging the health sectors.
