What can be described as a fairy tale year for Nigerian pop act, Wizkid continued on Thursday as he was declared the best artiste of the year at the Headies Award 2016.
Kiss Daniel was however, the biggest winner at the Headies awards 2016, taking home three awards, with Ill Bliss, indigenous rapper, closely following with a total of two wins.
Darey Art-Alade also won two awards for his hit single, ‘Pray for Me’. One of his awards was in the coveted category of ‘recording of the year’.

The event this year was just like a village meeting. So dry and below standards, I expected more from Hiptv in terms of audio and visual quality.
I can’t disagree on this. The transition was zero. It was almost a fiasco
