Ministerial nominees will be revealed on Tuesday

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki has said ministerial nominees will not be known until next week Tuesday, when the Senate meets in plenary.

Senate President, Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki received the list in a sealed envelope on Wednesday submitted by Chief of Staff to the President, Alhaji Abba Kyari and Senator Ita Enang, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Legislative Matters (Senate).

It looks like the envelop is to remain sealed, until Tuesday, Yusuph Olaniyonu, special adviser to the Senate President on media and publicity, said.

“Dr. Saraki has, following the tradition of the Senate, decided that the envelope will remain sealed till Tuesday October 6, when during the plenary sitting of the Upper legislative chamber, it will be opened and the list read to Senators”, Olaniyonu wrote in a statement.
