Belgian capital Brussels cancels fireworks display and New Year festivities because of terror alert.
The Belgian authorities have canceled the yearly December 31 party in Belgian capital, because of the safety status of the country.
It was stated by the Federal prosecutors that two people who were suspected to be plotting an attack in Brussels on the New Year’s Eve had been arrested.
Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel said the decision had been taken as a result of the information they received.
