Former national security adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki was today, produced in court by the federal government, in compliance an order of the federal high court, Abuja.
It was on January 20, that Justice Adeniyi Ademola ordered the federal government to produce Dasuki before the court on February 16.
Justice Ademola gave the order after Dasuki failed to show up for trial. Mr. Dasuki arrived at the court at 8:30am on Tuesday.
On January 20, Dipo Okpeseyi, counsel to the federal government, filed an application seeking the protection of witnesses in the trial of the former NSA. But Ademola adjourned ruling on the application, and for the commencement of trial to February 16.
Col. Sambo Dasuki is facing a four-count charge of money laundering and illegal possession of firearms brought against him by the Department of State Services (DSS).
