After days of rigorous search, the body of Allwell Orji, the medical doctor who jumped into the lagoon from the Adekunle end of the third mainland bridge has been recovered.

Orji ended his life around 4:50pm on Sunday.

Adesina Tiamiyu, general manager of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), said the body was found around 4pm on Wednesday.

He said family members of the deceased and his driver, who was the last known person to see him alive, have confirmed that the body found was that of Orji.
