Nigeria’s minister of communications and chairman of Muhammadu Buhari/Osinbajo Support Group,, Adebayo Shittu, on Wednesday attended the federal executive council (FEC) meeting with a ‘Ghana-Must-Go’ bag containing the caps which had the inscription ‘Continuity 19: Muhammadu Buhari/Osinbajo’.
Shittu, who wore the cap, distributed some to the ministers in attendance.
Shortly before the commencement of the meeting presided over by the president, the minister handed over the bag to the council’s secretariat staff members.
The workers are the ones saddled with the responsibility of distributing council documents and other items to members.
Photojournalists captured Shittu as he was exchanging pleasantries with some of his colleagues.
The caps were reportedly part of the souvenirs given to those who attended the inauguration of the campaign office of Buhari in Ibadan, Oyo state capital.
Shittu is eyeing the governorship seat and this has created a feud between him and Abiola Ajimobi, the incumbent governor.
