2023: Tinubu meets with APC lawmakers at National Assembly

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Caucus in the National Assembly, will on Wednesday meet with a former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, made known the development in a letter read during the start of plenary on Wednesday morning.

The letter was signed by the Senate Leader, Senator Yahaya Abdullahi (Kebbi North).

“There will be an APC Senate caucus meeting with His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu today, February 16, 2022″, Lawan said.

The meeting, scheduled to be held in the Senate President’s conference room, is slated for 2:30pm at the National Assembly complex.

Similarly, the House of Representatives caucus of the APC, will meet with Tinubu at 3:30pm after the meeting with senators.

According to Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke, the meeting was rescheduled to allow the lawmakers partake in plenary.

“Due to some exigencies and with the approval of the leadership, Bola Tinubu, will now meet with the APC Reps Caucus at NASS committee room 0:28 today by 3:30pm as against the earlier schedule.

“This is to make it easier for Hon Members after sitting. All APC members are kindly advised of this change”, he said.

Tinubu is a presidential hopeful on the platform of the APC.
