A 22-year-old Nigerian driver who died in a head-on crash in Glenn Dale, Maryland, early Monday morning has been identified as Samuel Oriloye.
Prince George’s County police said Oriloye, from Dublin, died after crashing head-on into another vehicle on Glenn Dale Boulevard near Bell Station Road around 1:35 a.m. Police arrived at the scene and found a two-vehicle crash with one of the cars on fire.
it appears Oriloye was driving the wrong way in the southbound lanes of Glenn Dale Boulevard. It is not yet clear what led Oriloye to cross into the oncoming traffic.
Oriloye was pronounced dead on the scene. The second driver suffered sustained nonlife threatening injuries, police said.
