No fewer than 400 soldiers who were previously dismissed, but recently recalled to military service, were seen at 4:45pm on Tuesday (yesterday) in seven luxury Nigeria army buses along Sir Kashim Ibrahim Road in Maiduguri.
A military source, confirmed their arrival, by stating that they have been in camps at Maimalari Cantonment at the Headquarters of 7 Army Division, pending the post back to their respective units.
”As of this evening hundreds of soldiers who were earlier dismissed some months ago, and who were recently recalled back to military, have arrived in Maiduguri today. They are being posted to the 7th Division until the time they will be posted back their various units,” a source said.
The soldiers were reported to have had joy on their faces as they waved to civilian onlookers
It would be recalled that 3rd of September, Kokomansion Media released information on the number of soldiers asked to return to the Nigerian Army, after being previously suspended.
