A report has said that Innocent Umezulike, a judge who died in June, has been included in the list of 50 Nigerians banned from traveling out of the country.
The list, according to The Nation, included the former Enugu Chief Judge, who was arraigned in September 2017 for alleged corruption.
He died before the executive order 6 which made it possible for the ban to be imposed on the 50 was signed in July.
On Saturday, Garba Shehu, presidential spokesman, announced that at least 50 Nigerians being probed for alleged corruption have been banned from leaving the country.
He had said the action was to the effect of the executive order six recently signed by President Muhammadu Buhari.
