The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state, Abubakar Audu has died from multiple strokes.
The death of Audu is coming barely three hours after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared his victory at the elections inconclusive.
Audu is leading the incumbent governor, Idris Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party with a total vote of 240, 867 in the election which was tagged a peaceful and non violent process.
Already, he has been announced winner in 10 out of the 14 before the final result was announce from the 21 local governments in the state.
