Senator Abdullahi Adamu, National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has urged Nigerians to provide security agencies with intelligent reports so as to effectively tackle the rising insecurity bedevilling various parts of the country.
The APC chairman gave the charge on Monday, when he paid a Sallah homage to The Emir of Keffi, Alhaji Chindo Yanusa, in his palace in Keffi LGA of Nasarawa State.
Adamu noted that the 2023 general election is very crucial to the people of Nigeria, hence need to fight insecurity ahead of the election.
Earlier in his speech, the Emir of Keffi, Alhaji Chindo Yanusa, called on the people to quickly embark on farming activities as the rains have come to stay.
He called on the Federal Government to provide security for farmers and the entire country.
In an interview with journalists, the Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State Command, CP Adesina Soyemi, said the command has adequately provided enough personnel for the state to deal with hooligans and bandits that are willing to cause problems in the state.
He assured residents of the area of adequate security and he advised them to go about their businesses as nobody will be molested.
