Mr Lawrence Okah, the secretary of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in Edo state, has been suspended.
The suspension was contained in a statement by, Mr Anslem Ojezua, chairman of the APC in the state, on Friday.
The suspension came as a result of complaints from members in Oredo where he was also a leader, this was according to Ojezua.
Ojezua also explained that the suspension was not punitive, as it was just a normal administrative procedure.
He said “He was just suspended to allow the committee set up to look at the complaints against him. We have not expelled him and the suspension is not punitive. It is just a normal administrative procedure”.
