Chelsea has signed their target French midfielder, Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco at the cost of £40 million.
Conte has made Bakayoko his main target for most of last summer and a five-year contract already signed, Chelsea will have no problem letting Matic leave.
The deal to sign the 22-year-old defensive midfielder took a while to complete, but he will now link up with the blues. The new player will wear the No.14 shirt, told Chelsea’s official website: “I am very happy to be here and to join this great team. I have grown up watching Chelsea. Signing was the natural thing for me because it is a club I loved very much in my childhood.
“I am now looking forward to evolving under this fantastic coach and alongside so many great team-mates.”
