Governor Yahaya Bello has been declared the winner of the Kogi State Governorship election, by the independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Bello had polled the total of 406,222 votes and his main opposition, Engineer Musa Wada of the PDP had 189,702 votes.
The incident governor had won in 12 local government areas and Wada of the PDP, nine local government areas.
The results were announced by the INEC returning officer of the stare, Prof. Ibrahim Garba.
