Olabode George, a former Vice Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has lost his son. Dipo George died at 42 in the early hours of Thursday in a Lagos hospital. He was said to have suffered a protracted illness before his demise.
Moshood Salvador, the state’s party chairman issued a statement after paying a condolence visit to the family.
“May the care and love of those around you provide peace and comfort to get you through the days ahead.
“I hope our Lord brings you and your family the much needed peace during this testing time.
“Our condolences to the entire George family over this irreparable loss”, he said.
