Barely 48 hours after a multiple bomb blast rocked Maiduguri, north east Nigeria, another twin bombing has been reported in a mosque in the town.
Tens of worshippers were killed Thursday when suicide bombers targeted a mosque in the northeastern Nigerian city of Maiduguri
Though reports are still sketchy, the bombs were said to have exploded when the mosque in Mala neighbourhood of the city was packed with worshippers.
A trader near the mosque said: “All the people in the mosque died. Not a single one escaped,” stating that he was able to count not less than 42 bodies.
What can be said for a certainty is there there were casualties, but since the bombing had taken place at night, the true position of casualties may not be known until Friday morning.
