Pandemonium is the term to describe the situation at swamps street, up Odunfa street Lagos Island, today when a 3 storey building collapsed, trapping the occupants in the process.
Rescue operation is being carried out at the scene by the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, and no deaths have been reported so far.
The General Manger, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) Mr. Michael Akindele and the Director Lagos State Fire Service, Rasaq Fadipe who were at the scene confirmed the incidence.
“People were reported trapped and search and rescue operations are ongoing,” said Fadipe.
