It is a horrific morning in Lagos, as a passenger train and BRT bus collided at PWD junction, Ikeja area of the state on Thursday. The bus is observed to be a Lagos state government BRT staff bus.
According to one of the sumpathisers on the scene, the train was said to be coming from Agege and met a BRT vehicle with the Lagos state government workers on board crossing the rail to link Ikeja GRA.

At the time of filing this report, the number of casualties was unclear but the BRT bus was smeared with the fresh blood of victims.
The accident has caused a gridlock on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway for motorists coming from Oshodi around Shogunle to Ikeja-Along.
