A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and astute media consultant, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze has described the conferment of the highest rank in the Catholic Church on the former Governor of Rivers State and erstwhile Minister  of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Dr. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi as a confirmation of his undistorted commitment to the service of God and humanity.

Recall that on Sunday, August 18, 2019, the Exemplification Honour of the Knights of St. John from the Grand Master, Nigerian Temple of Noble and Exalted Knights of the Holy Cross Knight of St. John International was conferred on the Ministerial nominee for his services to the Order and humanity at the Pope John Paul ll Catholic Center, Abuja.

Chief Eze in his felicitation message circulated to media houses in Port Harcourt – the Rivers State capital on Tuesday averred that such a rare recognition could only be achieved through a long-term and unflinching show of public spirit, total dedication to Godliness and untainted love for brotherhood and society. He opined that such an honour will only reinforce Amaechi and spur him to further service, describing him as a rare gem and expensive gift to the Nigerian state and humanity.

Chief Eze, a former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) charged public servants to follow the steps of Dr. Chibuike Amaechi whose legacies in public service he described as noble, fadeless and unbeatable adding that things will only get better if the likes of Amaechi are given the opportunity to steer the ship of the Nigerian State.

According to the media guru, “Amaechi is worthy of Julius Caesar’s summary of his own victory in Pontus; Veni, Vedi, Vici which means  – I came, I saw, I conquered”.

Chief Eze thanked the body of Christ for the honor done Amaechi and tasked them to be relentless in prayers for the South-South leader of the APC and Minister designate so that he will not relent in his unflinching vision and drive for the Nigeria of our dream.
