COVID-19: Cases in Nigeria hits 6401, as NCDC records 226 new cases – 131 in Lagos

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, the NCDC has recorded 226 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

The NCDC announced this via its verified twitter handle on Tuesday.

The breakdown of the cases are, 131-Lagos 25-Ogun 15-Plateau 11-Edo 7-Kaduna 6-Oyo 5-FCT 5-Adamawa 4-Jigawa 4-Ebonyi 4-Borno 3-Nasarawa 2-Bauchi 2-Gombe 1-Enugu 1-Bayelsa.

As at Tuesday 19th May the total coronavirus cases in Nigeria stands at 6401, 1734 discharged and 192 deaths.
