COVID-19: Cases surpass 6000 in Nigeria as NCDC confirms 216 new cases – 74 in Lagos, 32 in Katsina

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, the NCDC has confirmed 216 new coronavirus cases in Nigeria.

The NCDC via its official twitter handle on Monday made this known.

The breakdown of the coronavirus cases on Monday are, 74-Lagos 33-Katsina 19-Oyo 17-Kano 13-Edo 10-Zamfara 8-Ogun 8-Gombe 8-Borno 7-Bauchi 7-Kwara 4-FCT 3-Kaduna 3-Enugu 2-Rivers.

With this the total Coronavirus cases in Nigeria stands at 6175, 1644 discharged and 191 deaths.
