Six staffs of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC have tested positive for the coronavirus infection.
The commission disclosed this via its official Twitter handle on Monday 8th June.
The NDDC said, the six persons were part of the 33 staff members in the Office of the Executive Director (Projects), Cairo Ojougboh, asked to self-isolate.
But, Ojougboh’s result returned negative for COVID-19.
The tweet read: “As NDDC headquarters staff undergo isolation and Covid19 screening, six of 33 staff members in the Office of the Executive Director (Projects), Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, have tested positive to Covid-19. However, Dr Ojougboh tested negative.”
