Drake Signs $10m Residency Deal In Las Vegas

American/Canadian rapper, Drake has signed a residency deal worth $10million at one of the biggest nightclubs in Las Vegas.

 The Blast reports that sources close to Drake confirm that he signed the deal worth $10 million for a residency at XS Nightclub inside the Wynn Las Vegas.

Drizzy recently hinted at the residency during a performance inside the nightclub.

“Vegas! When I came back, I thought it’d be back at T-Mobile Arena or some (stuff),” Drake said during his 30-minute set. “But I’ll be back here at XS all year. You’ll have a lotta chances to see me.”

The 32-year-old artist reportedly received a $2 million paycheck for his 30-minute appearance at XS Nightclub, which holds 1,600 people inside the club and another 3,200 patrons on the outdoor pool area. Throughout the sold-out event, the Toronto native performed a medley of hits like ‘In My Feelings’.

The news of Drake’s new residency in Las Vegas comes after the launch of his new champagne Mod Selection.

Drake recently partnered with California-based entrepreneur Brent Hocking to create a luxury champagne which will come in two different non-vintage 750ml selections, Mod Réserve Champagne ($300) and Mod Rosé Champagne ($400).

The new line of bubbly joins his growing collection of liquor brands alongside Virginia Black Whiskey, which he promoted back in 2016.

Although he hasn’t announced the residency himself yet, Drake did post a photo of his recent performance at XS with the caption “New home.”
