The Premier League continued to excite fans as Week 7 action brought the usual intensity of the game. In the games played on Saturday, Harry Kane scored twice in the 4-0 win over Huddersfield Town, while Lukaku added a late goal in the win over Crystal Palace by the same scoreline. In the late match, Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata suffered an injury in the loss against Manchester City.

Lukaku wasn’t at his best on Saturday and ruined several good chances for the Red Devils, but the Belgian got his name on the scoresheet late in an easy win over Crystal Palace.

Compatriot Marouane Fellaini had already scored twice and Juan Mata had bagged the opener when Lukaku steered home after some great work from Anthony Martial.

Lukaku has now scored in six straight matches across all competitions, a sensational start to his career in Manchester.

Kane did even better, continuing his fine run with a brace against Huddersfield. Ben Davies and Moussa Sissoko also got on the board, as Spurs were all over their opponents and enjoyed an easy afternoon.

The England international has made a habit of struggling in August before turning it up in September in a big way.

Elsewhere, Richarlison continued his good start to life in England with a last-minute equaliser for Watford against West Bromwich Albion.

Peter Crouch scored the winner for Stoke City against Southampton, and Diafra Sakho scored the only goal for West Ham United in their narrow win over Swansea City.

Manchester City―without Sergio Aguero―grabbed a win over Chelsea in Saturday’s late kick-off, courtesy of a fantastic strike from Kevin De Bruyne.

The Belgian scored the only goal in a match in which Chelsea’s Morata limped off with an injury in the first half.

In the games played on Sunday, Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw with Newcastle United after Joselu cancelled out Philippe Coutinho’s opener at St James’ Park.

Meanwhile, Arsenal moved level on points with Chelsea after beating Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium, thanks to goals from Nacho Monreal and Alex Iwobi.

Sunday’s other fixture saw yet another defeat for Everton, who were beaten 1-0 at Goodison Park by Burnley.

The defeat is the Toffees’ fourth in their last five Premier League outings, while Burnley continue their impressive start to the season by moving into sixth place in the table.
