EUROPA LEAGUE: Arsenal whip Standard Liege 4-0 as United settle for draw

Arsenal made it two wins in Group F of this season’s Europa League following their 4-0 win against Belgian club Standard Liege, at the Emirates on Thursday.
Brazilian summer signing, Gabriel Martinelli scored two goals in the 14th and 16th minutes.
Joseph Willock and on loan midfielder, Dani Ceballos, were on target in the 22nd and 57th minutes respectively.
Arsenal top the group on six points, scoring seven goals without reply.
In Group L, Manchester United’s poor winless run on the road continues as they played 0-0 draw against AZ Alkmaar.
The draw saw United occupy second on four points in the group.
They have now gone 10 straight away games without a win (six defeats, four draws).
They last went on a longer winless run of 11 games on the road between February and September 1989.
And in other results, Wolverhampton Wanderers beat Besiktas 1-0 away, Roma played 1-1 away to Wolfsberger, Trabzonspor and Basel played 2-2, and Seville pip APOEL Nicosia 1-0.
