The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) says it has fixed the runway lights at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, enable international flights land in Lagos.

Over the weekend, the dire state of the infrastructure caused British Airways (BA) to divert its Lagos-bound flights to Abuja airport.

The BA075 Lagos had to divert to Abuja “due to local infrastructure issues” in Lagos, BA had communicated to passengers.

Henrietta Yakubu, spokesperson of FAAN, on Monday, said the runway lights had been fixed.
