The change of name for the Ministry of Communications have been approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
The council said that the Ministry of Communication have been changed to the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy.
The meeting was chaired on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari who is currently in Russia, by his Vice, Prof Yemi Osinbajo
On his official twitter handle the vice President stated that “This morning I presided over the meeting of the Federal Executive Council.
“The council has approved the change of name for the Ministry of Communications, now to be called Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy”.
