The famous kuto market in Abeokuta, Ogun state capital, western Nigeria was razed down by fire over night.
The fire razed down several shops in the market, which were loaded with different items in it, ranging from plastics, to housing items, food stuffs, clothing e.t.c.
The affected traders grieved for their loss and they were inconsolable this morning at the site of the incidence as goods worth millions of naira were destroyed overnight.
The cause of the fire still remains unknown.
