Serious fighting and shootings broke out on Monday within the premises of the Edo State House of Assembly over the removal of Speaker of the House. The Nation reports.
According to the report the fracas ensued because of the sack of the speaker Hon. Kabiru Adjoto.
Thugs and unknown armed men invaded the Edo State House of Assembly and chased lawmakers away.
Two lawmakers of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, M.D Igbas and Hon Iluobe were seen fleeing with their security personnel.
The report also says that three persons have been injured in the fightings already as more details on the matter will be unfolded later…
