The Government of Ogun State, has revealed the placement of a-24-year-old female undergraduate of Federal University of Agriculture, FUNAAB, Abeokuta, along with 18 others under watch for Lassa Fever in Ogun state.
The information was disseminated by the state Commissioner for Health, Babatunde Ipaye, as he spoke with newsmen at his office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
He explained that the undergraduate had contact with the case of Lassa fever, recorded in Ahmadiyyah Hospital in Ojokoro area of Lagos state.
Ipaye went on to state that apart from the female student, the others are workers of the Ahmadiyya hospital, but reside in Ogun State.
