The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili resigned today. He spent two-years in office, as the ruling coalition struggles to add to its popularity in preparation for the next year’s parliamentary polls.
He announced his resignation in a televised address to the nation, where he said the decision to leave his post was his, he added that it’s only God and Motherland that is permanent, all portfolio are temporal.
Garibashvili didn’t explain his reason for quitting his post.
