The Nigerian Police, has confirmed the abduction of two persons in Benin City the Edo State capital.
The two victims were said to have been abducted on Sunday morning, along the Ogba Zoological Garden Area, and were taken through a nearby river to an unknown destination by their abductors.
The commissioner of Police, Edo state, Dan Mallam Mohammed, said that rescue efforts were being made and joint action of police and other security agencies have led to demolition of kidnapper’s camps in the state.
