Suspected gunmen Saturday evening killed four workers at a mining site in Dong village, Plateau State.
According to reports the attackers stormed the village and shot dead the workers at the site.
A woman was said to have escaped the onslaught by whiskers, but she is presently receiving treatment in the hospital.
Similarly, the Plateau State Police Command PRO, ASP Gabriel Ubah has confirmed the attack to The Nation, affirming the casualty number.
