A police corporal, David Sunday and his friend, Taiwo Balogun was shot by gunmen at agege area in Lagos State.
It was discovered that the policeman who is attached to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Ikeja was attacked and shot by gunmen when he was driving in his car with Balogun around 2pm.
It was gathered that Raheem Suleiman was in the car too and was also shot, but survived and was taken to a general hospital for treatment.
No one has been able to identify the gunmen as they fled the scene immediately after the attack.
The corpses of the police corporal and his friend, Balogun has been taken to a public morgue in Yaba.
The Police Public Relations Officer of Lagos State, DSP Joe Offor, confirmed the incident and he said the case had been transferred to the State Department of Criminal Investigation, Yaba for further investigation.

He said, “The corporal and his friend were attacked by gunmen, and they were shot dead. The third victim is receiving treatment in a hospital in Ikeja. The case is under investigation at the SCID, Yaba.”
