Just as Diezani was arrested in London by the newly formed International Corruption Unit (ICU) of the UK’s National Crimes Agency, EFCC operatives have stormed her home in Abuja.
Diezani Alison-Madueke’ Abuja home was Friday, invaded by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). This is considered to be part of a multinational investigation of the former minister.
EFCC made “significant recovery” of documents at the Abuja of the former minister, a senior security source revealed.
“The raid on her Asokoro residence today (Friday) yielded vital information that will help in the prosecution of the case,” the source said.
