A man who is said to be in his early 40s have been reported to have been arrested and released on bail, by the Nigerian Police, for stabbing his 11 year old son, who refused to go to school, (NAN reports).
Akpogbero Peterson, the suspect, who hails from Ekuigbo Community in Ughelli North, Delta State, was reported to have been detained for three days by the Police in ‘A’ division Ughelli Delta State, before he was released on bail.
Fegor Peter, the victim according to some sources in the community, sustained body injuries as a result of the incident.
Efemena Mukoro while speaking on the incident said that “Akpogbero had got angry when his son, Fegor refused to go to school. In a bid to scold his son, he used a cutlass on him causing body injuries on the boy’s head and body parts.
