It is no longer news that Barcelona and Argentina forward, Lionel Messi, has won the FIFA Ballon d’Or award for 2015, making it a record 5th win for the Argentine.
Messi, won ahead of three time winner, Real Madrid and Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona and Brazil forward Neymar. But the question is: who voted and for who?
Argentina’s Messi and Portugal’s Ronaldo were each given a chance to vote as the captain of their respective countries, but the two rivals refused to name each other in their top three.
Messi picked his team-mates Luis Suarez, Neymar and Andres Iniesta, while Ronaldo picked his club colleagues Karim Benzema, James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale.
Brazil captain Neymar voted his Barcelona colleagues, naming Messi, Suarez and Croatia midfielder Ivan Rakitic as his top three.
