Embattled Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley is reported to have been involved in robbery and sexual assault at the age of 19 and was declared wanted by Lewisham Police in London.
Naira Marley is a well known name at the moment because of his arrest and subsequent arraignment by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
A report from almost five years ago, June 11, 2014 by News Shoppers, shows the rapper listed amongst other criminals who were wanted for sexual assault at the time.
In the report, they give Marley’s profile as “Azeez Fashola, 19, is wanted by police in connection with an incident in Surrey Canal Road, New Cross on March 5.
