The Eagles continued to press for more goals and were rewarded in the 66th minute before Sunusi Ibrahim completed the rout in the 68th minute to make it 5-0.

Qualification for the third U-23 AFCON, will see the Eagles defend their title which they won in 2015 under former Super Eagles coach, Samson Siasia.

The tournament will hold between November 8th to 22nd in Egypt.
