As contained in an official statement by Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman Acting Director Army Public Relations, troops of 113 Battalion at Kareto Northern Borno State, were attacked by Boko Haram terrorists in the early hours of today. 
The troops are reported to be in fierce battle with the insurgents.
The Army spokesman promises to release further details as soon as possible.
