Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, the Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate, resumed duties at the Red chambers of the National Assembly on Tuesday.
Kokomansion understands that this is the first time Kalu is attending a plenary session since his release from prison.
On his arrival at the Senate, Kalu who spoke to reporters said “I just want to thank God for everything that has happened.
“It is the will of God. I want to urge Nigerians to keep hope alive.”
Kalu was released from Kuje Correctional Centre after spending 6 months. He and others were convicted and sentenced for N7.1bn fraud.
