Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero has broken a rib after he was involved in a car accident in Amsterdam, this is according to the Club manager, Pep Guardiola.
Guardiola confirmed the 29-year-old would miss City’s match Premier League match at Chelsea on Saturday and said: “He [Aguero] is still in Amsterdam and he is coming back this afternoon. I am not a doctor and I don’t know exactly what he has.
“It was an accident and he will recover as soon as possible.
“It is not a problem for me [that he was in Amsterdam]. He was on a day off. I have not spoken to him. He is okay that is the main thing.
“The first impression we have is that he has a broken rib but we do not know for sure.”
Guardiola admitted he had no problem with Aguero spending a day off abroad, saying: “A day off is to be happy.
“I am a trainer who doesn’t want to train every day because they [the players] need to rest, mentally and physically.”

“I broke my rib, now I’m resting. It hurts me badly. I’ll be discharged in a little while.”
