Nigerian rapper, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun aka Vector, in his recently released single ‘SARS Is Around’ has addressed the brutality of the Nigerian police.
Operatives of the special anti-robbery squad, SARS, have been making headlines for negative reasons of late, and rapper dedicated to the discourse.
In the song titled ‘SARS Is Around’, Vector raps about reasons why Nigerian youth are stopped, and sometimes arrested, by police operatives.
The wordsmith raps: “Don’t show yourself when SARS is around/ Don’t grow your hair when SARS is around/ Don’t dress fly when SARS is around.”
