Leaders for the South-eastern part of Nigeria, are in a meeting currently with President Muhammadu Buhari, at the State House council chamber in Abuja.
The leaders which comprised of Governors from the zone, are requesting the Federal Government to intervene specially for the speedy completion of the Enugu International Airport and rehabilitation of Federal roads.
Gov. David Umahi, the Ebonyi State Governor, who’s also the chairman of the Southeast Governor’s Forum, who led the delegation had made this request during the meeting with the President.
Adding to their request the leaders wants the Federal Government to declare a state of emergency on Federal roads.
